We started this brand for a simple reason. My name is Serena Yuan, and like you, I just love having great nails. A fresh manicure can seriously make my whole day better.
But let's be real, it's a hassle. Going to the salon takes hours and costs a fortune. Trying to paint them myself? A messy disaster. I tried the press-ons you find in drugstores, but they always looked a bit...off. You know, that machine-printed, plastic-y look that you can spot from a mile away.
I kept thinking, "There are so many talented nail techs out there creating amazing, intricate designs. Why can't we get that quality in a convenient, press-on form?"
So, we decided to make it happen.
We're not some "artist alliance." We're a team of passionate, seriously skilled nail artists who genuinely love what they do.
How did we find them? The old-fashioned way. We scouted different cities, spent way too much time scrolling through social media, and found the artists whose work we personally admired. Then, we reached out and asked them to join us.
Our team is a mix of pros. Some have been running their own popular salons for over a decade and know exactly which shapes are the most flattering and which colors best complement any skin tone. Others are rising stars known online for their unique, trend-setting designs.
We don't have a list of grand philosophies. We're just focused on doing a few things really, really well:
- Always Made by Hand. Machines print, people create. Every single set, from shaping the base to painting the final top coat, is done by our artists. When you get your nails, you'll see and feel the difference that a human touch makes.
- Designs We'd Actually Wear. We don't chase fleeting fads. Our artists create timeless, stylish designs that they'd be excited to wear themselves. Our collection grows thoughtfully, focusing on quality over quantity.
- Good, Honest Quality. We wear these nails too, so we're picky about materials. We only use high-quality, non-toxic, and durable gels that you'd find in a reputable salon. They need to be comfortable, safe, and built to last.
We're a small, nail-tech-powered workshop from Asia, passionate about sharing the talent of our artists with more people in a way that's easier and more accessible.
